Privacy policy
Backlink Services ("we", "us") provides monthly digital PR campaigns to businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are. The honest summary: we collect very little, we use it only to run your campaign, and we do not sell it to anyone.
What we collect
When you email info@backlink.services, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message. When you start a plan, we additionally hold your business name, billing details, your website URLs, and the delivery records for your campaign, meaning the URLs of the links we build for you. That is the complete list. This website sets no analytics cookies, runs no tracking scripts, and embeds no third-party advertising of any kind.
How we use it
We use your data to reply to you, scope and invoice your plan, run outreach and deliver your links, honor the monthly minimum and the 90-day replacement guarantee, and keep the financial records the law requires. We do not add you to a newsletter, share your details with data brokers, or contact you about anything other than your own campaign and questions.
Who we share it with
Three narrow categories: our email and invoicing providers, who process data on our behalf under their own safeguards; professional advisers such as accountants where required; and authorities where the law compels disclosure. Publishers we pitch during outreach are never told who our client is unless you ask us to say so.
How long we keep it
Correspondence and campaign records are kept for as long as needed to run your plan and honor the guarantee windows on delivered links, and thereafter as required for accounting and legal purposes, typically six years for financial records. If you never become a client, your inquiry email is simply retained in our inbox and deleted during routine cleanup.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the UK GDPR and equivalent laws elsewhere, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we have no legal duty to retain it, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email info@backlink.services and we respond within one business day, with the substantive answer following as quickly as the request allows. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page. Material changes affecting active clients are flagged by email. This policy was last updated on 12 July 2026.
